'SHERLOCK GNOMES' (2018) REVIEW

With the first film 'Gnomeo and Juliet' doing well at the box office and receiving mixed reviews, the sequel does not succeed nor does it do well commercially and critically. It underperformed at the box office and received negative reviews. Though my sister enjoyed this film due to its tone and the 'humour' it provides, the film lacks many things. I thought the humour was 'okay'. I only laughed a few times but those moments are forgettable. The only memorable scene was the nepotism joke in the beginning. Comedy is an important genre to present in this film to engage children but this film failed to do so. However, the action aspect of the film managed to keep the audience engaged. Other aspects the film lacked was the storytelling which is the main part of any film.
